The Peltor G2000 HELMET WITH UVICATOR SENSOR – revolutionizing safety at work.
When working outdoors, the sun’s ultraviolet rays gradually degrade a helmet’s plastic, eventually putting the safety of the wearer at risk. The problem is that it is hard to tell the difference between a new and a UV-aged helmet. And lots of helmets all over the world are worn past their best-before date.
Now, Peltor makes it possible to tell when a helmet is unusable due to UV exposure. This new technology is called the Peltor Uvicator Sensor.

New EU legislation
From February 2006 significant changes are taking place regarding Noise at Work. Under this new EU noise legislation employers must provide suitable hearing protection where noise exceeds 80dB(A), all EU member states must comply with the new directive by February 2006 (exceptions may occur).
